Wasps / Hornets — Professional intervention

Wasps and hornets (including the Asian hornet, now present across the entire country) build their nests between April and September, in attics, under roof tiles, in hedges or on balconies. An active nest can hold from several hundred to several thousand individuals depending on the species and the season. Their stings are painful and can be fatal for allergic individuals. The Asian hornet is also a threat to honeybee colonies and to local pollination, which makes it a priority species for public authorities.

Treatment against wasps and hornets is preferably carried out early in the morning or late in the evening, when the insects are gathered inside the nest. Our pros intervene wearing a full protective suit and use a telescopic pole with an approved professional insecticide before removing and neutralising the nest. A weekend or public- holiday surcharge may apply to urgent interventions — it is shown transparently before the quote is confirmed.
